How a Ship having passed the Line was driven by storms to the cold Country towards the South Pole; and how from thence she made her course to the tropical Latitude of the Great Pacific Ocean; and of the strange things that befell; and in what manner the Ancyent Marinere came back to his own Country.
PART I
Mariner gives the wedding guest a look, there’s something about his eyeball, that makes him stay
PART II
he shot the bird now he is saying he has killed the bird
I looked up the word “averred”… “aver” is it present tense and it means that “stated”, or in legal speak it means “allege as a fact in support of plea”, so it sort of seems like they’re upset that he killed the bird, but they’re also trying to shift the blame onto him, so they don’t feel the consequences? Also, putting him on trial in a sense? or punishing him?
Basically, him shooting the Albatross resulted in an easy ticket to death for the whole ship, and he’s very regretful because of it.
PART III

lips were red,her
looks were free,All the homies died, but of course he lived and now he gets to tell the cool story that due to his own mistakes, his sailor crew died.
after killing the bird the ship is stuck and they have nowhere to go .. another ghost ship comes about with dead people and death herself the ship disappears all the men curse him then all of a sudden the people die
PART IV
This is him living with the punishment of living along on the sea on an old boat with the bodies of the sailors that still hold that aces of the cruse they gave him. I don’t feel the ghost ship was there to bring punishment but instead was there to enlightening the other of their punishment. Not only has he stuck alone on this ship but he has to constantly be reminded of the people he messed over.
PART V
This kind of reminds me of “To Kill a Mockingbird” in the sense that the saying is something like “It’s a sin to kill a mockingbird”, and then Atticus explains that it’s a sin because the mockingbird is innocent, and does nothing but bring joy. The Albatross was innocent, it brought joy to the men, and the Mariner sinned by killing it. So he must repent, yknow?

PART VII
His curse is to always have to tell this story. Although he changed his ways he will remain cursed because of his previous actions
He’s saying that although his tale is an agonizing one to tell, every time he tells it, it sets him free.
After telling the hermit his tale, he is compelled to tell it to others that need to hear it. I think this is why the wedding guest didn’t want to hear him at first but after he looked into the mariner’s “glittering eyes” he was compelled to listen to the tale.Saying “at an uncertain hour… that moment that his face I see” means that his tale is targeted to a specific person, and comes at a specific time that he doesn’t know beforehand.
