Robyn G Robyn G (Jul 18 2021 9:51AM) : Please explain why grandparents, especially grandmothers are always so sentimental?
profile_photo
Jul 19
Harry B Harry B (Jul 19 2021 7:59AM) : Sentimentality more

I think the bond of relationships always cause this, correct? In this case this applies to many people, that have a bond, with others? Also experience and years of bonds and relationships matter much, correct?

Harry B Harry B (Jul 19 2021 8:00AM) : Longing more

In this case, I feel this is setting up how these individuals will relate to the new addition to their family, etc..

Robyn G Robyn G (Jul 19 2021 9:01AM) : I get that but I feel like so grandparent like my grandmother is outrightly sentimental, talking about the past and whatnot, while some like my grandfather don't act sentimental at all unless you beg him to bring out a picture album.

LOL, funny – this is funny – also I see this as a turning point for the grandfather and his connection is getting stronger with the adoptee.

Robyn G Robyn G (Jul 18 2021 10:01AM) : NO not like that. okay because first you but and even dollop in the middle of the pan and then spread it in a circular motion to a thin layer. you wouldn't plop it so it spreads everywhere it would get super uneven
profile_photo
Jul 19
Harry B Harry B (Jul 19 2021 8:04AM) : Dollop more

Curious – Would this be different with ingredients, would ingredients make this different as far as the form?

Jul 19
Robyn G Robyn G (Jul 19 2021 9:07AM) : Well, the base for crepes is naturally thin so it wouldn't change.

Robyn G Robyn G (Jul 18 2021 10:05AM) : Who would actually let a toddler on a balcony by themself toward night/dusk, or at all actually most people would watch them like a hawk. And how did she manage to do that anyway?

Harry B Harry B (Jul 19 2021 8:05AM) : Toddler more

And maybe this makes a statement of something that we find out later – about them as parents – do not want to give it away :)

Robyn G Robyn G (Jul 18 2021 10:10AM) : I think I understood the father and son's attitude towards each other. more

I see why the father and son don’t have a very close relationship because he was working all the time so he did miss a lot of key moments. SO I think the son feels almost jealous because his kid gets the kind of attention he wants. But only because the grandfather is retired.

Harry B Harry B (Jul 19 2021 8:11AM) : Father and Son more

Interesting – I see the fall out from what his son missed seemingly visible here in the son noticing this through their new addition – interesting all the family in this graphic novel are having info revealed about aspects that shown them as real people, etc.
