Please accept my greetings, Mike Lee. I'm writing to express my objection to global warming. According to CNN, you believe that the best way to combat climate change is to marry and have children. Climate change, you believe, is a technical problem that can be remedied by increasing the number of American houses. My views on climate change and global warming differ because climate change is not a plausible idea. If there's proof that it's real, you don't have to believe it. Climate change is a scientific notion that has been demonstrated to be true.
Sea level rise is the hypothesis that the ocean level is rising as a result of global warming. The first is thermal expansion, whereas the second is the melting of glaciers and ice sheets (NOAA,2021). The ocean absorbs 90% of the heat trapped in the atmosphere by heat-trapping greenhouse gases.As a result of human-caused global warming, the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets are losing considerable amounts of land-based ice. Since the 1990s, glaciers all across the world have been rapidly melting. Climate change is accelerated by factors such as the industrial revolution, carbon dioxide, and the greenhouse effect.
In the winter, the average temperature in Utah will rise by 3 degrees Fahrenheit, and in the summer, it will rise by 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit." (Utah Hazard Migration, 2021). As the sea level rises, more rain will fall in Utah, resulting in less snow in the mountains. Our hydrogeological system is strongly reliant on a good snowpack to keep water in place, but if there is less snow in the mountains, our snowpack will be jeopardized, resulting in significant economic ramifications.
