This student also gave lots of attention to details. Perhaps if the student had checked the guidelines before submitting the work, he would have added the intermediate directions. They could also use the guidelines to check each other’s work.

I wonder if the student just didn’t realize all that was expected (didn’t use checklist) or is not capable or making a compass and key. There is some evidence of engagement and attention to details here.
