While I was reading this story, I really kept thinking about a show that I used to watch called Phineas and Ferb. Dink and Fegus are also brothers and look for treasures and adventures through out their day. I chose this image because it shows that the real treasure that these two brothers share in the end is the time they spend with each other.

Cristina, I really like the connections you made! I loved that show also when I was younger, and I loved the adventures that Phineas and Ferb used to go on, as much as Dink and Fegus.

This picture was also sentimental to me, because I have a sibling and I love the time we get to spend together also.

Cristina, I really like the way that you made connections between the book and a show!

I only watched that show a couple of times as a child, but I can definitely see how you made that connection! I feel like when readers are able to make connections to something familiar, it makes the book more enjoyable. Not only did I enjoy reading about the connection you made, but also the page of the book. It really shows the reader how the brothers have a special relationship, and can make believe and have fun together!
