I’d like to integrate the digital portfolio as an active part of our learning (not a place to collect 1-2x a semester. I’m also interested in using video and voiceover for composition of various genres.

Most students think that they are finished when the get their assignment posted online. I’d like to have them find more motivation to go a little more multimodal themselves.

Hoping to be able to monitor better and have students work on their own. Tricky with 9th & 10th graders. Students use Google Classroom to monitor their progress and what needs to be done. Want it to be more transformative and purposeful.

I definitely love the tools and how Covid kind of allowed even more outside school connection. My students read chapters of Stamped via Kami and seeing their thoughts with another school was fascinating. I have also used Book Creator to do year-long projects with Bangladesh and Spain. The real audience changes the motivation!

I am not sure if or how I get to transformative. I love doing it and reading the kids’ thoughts and seeing how they believe they are growing. I want to expand on this idea and would love help.

I have found meaningful use of YoTeach! during a seminar. While a discussion is going on by the inner circle, the outer circle is commenting on this platform about the inner circle discussion.
