To read and comment, scroll down to view one of the snippets below and click "read more." This will take you to the document pane. On the left, you will see the document, and on the right you will see the area to comment. You can either make a comment related to the whole article or you can comment on one specific paragraph in the article, the choice is yours. This is truly an interesting idea, but I’m not sure I could be convinced of its ability to be successful as a fully implemented assessment tool. I do believe that it would help students because of the immediate feedback even though it is not a live teacher. Some feedback is better than none. On the other hand I could never see this being implemented as an actual grader for something like a state mandated test. How could they possibly keep the error ratio down to an acceptable number, for that matter is there an acceptable number?
