  The process of taking Soundsupply from a raw idea to a fully launched site took about two years.
  







  
  To compile the first drop of records, Mortensen said they reached out both to friends and to labels and bands they had been fans of.

  "Our goal with all of this is definitely to introduce people to some really great albums," Mortensen said.
  







  
  Ultimately, he said he hopes individuals who visit the site will remember the bands they saw at Soundsupply when they hear about the bands coming through the area on tour or when they notice their albums at the record store.
