SHORT TO LONG- quickly introduces the information to the reader then goes in depth with longer sentences showing the reader evidence or reasons.
Example: Tom Brady is a quarterback for the New England Patriots. He is one of the greatest players ever to live with multiple super bowl rings and numerous records under his belt.
Bad example: Tom Brady is one of the best passers in the NFL with great statistics and wins often. He is an NFL quarterback for the New England Patriots.
Example: The University of Virginia is one of the most prestegious academic institutions in the United States. World-renown faculty and students call UVa home and Thomas Jefferson was the one who first created the school.
Bad example: Thomas Jefferson was the one who created the university that is the University of Virginia located in the Piedmont region of Virginia just west of Richmond. UVa is on the of the most prestegious academic institutions in the US.
