I get that the story is left to right and the dates help differentiate spaces, but I am still left a bit confused at first glance. This means I need panels with borders. I could be wrong. Or even a slide show might be a cool way to do this.

I guess we all bring out own lens to these kinds of reading. I, for one, liked the lack of panels because I think Algot was showing us continuity, blending of time. Panels divide time into units. This shows flow.

To this metaphor of surveyor maybe we can add trailblazer/explorer. Someone way ahead of the whole shebang, an advance scout looking out for happier trails and a safer experience.
The group made me feel welcomed, safe. The challenges were at an appropriate level while not so easy as to be boring…not too ‘safe’ in that sense. Was compelled to stretch beyond my comfort zone of exposure to the group. The feedback from responders told me how welcome (very) I was, and how they wanted to see more (encouraging!)
