At each age level kids need a range of supports to help them move more successfully, and safely, to the next level. This is a concept map. Others could create versions adding additional supports that don’t show on my map.

I started Tutor/Mentor Connection in 1993, as part of a small non-profit in Chicago. In 2011 I created Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC to continue the T/MC in Chicago and help others duplicate it in other cities.

The change from non-profit to Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC took place in mid 2011. It was sudden, unexpected, and unplanned. Thus, I’m still trying to figure a way to generate revenue to support this strategy and help others adopt it.
