angie liranzo angie liranzo (Apr 03 2017 10:34PM) : At 2:25 i heard how the students feel about the schools they attended and why it made them to go to another school or to drop out. more

i stopped at this point of the in the video because its similar to what many young people face in out world today. This connects to a lot of people i know because whenever they’re asked why they came to the school. its mostly the same reasons which are ‘’ my other school was trash’‘, ’’they didn’t care about how i was doing in my classes’’ etc etc. i can also connect this to things that i seen like students leaving class because they don’t get the help that they ask for.

Siree Barry Siree Barry (Apr 05 2017 10:28PM) : Through out the whole video majority of us can relate because we are all at that same predicament , alternative schools aren't bad more

people believe once we in a alternative school we go down one level or so well that’s not the case everyone makes mistakes and messing up in high school was 1 of our mistakes and most of learned from it by getting back on track and actually being able to trust our counselor , teachers and staff so i understands where each of the students are coming from and i am glad i can listen to what the students outcome were

Derek Aponte Derek Aponte (Jun 05 2017 9:48PM) : i noticed him saying how because of the second chance he was provided with he is achieving something he thought was previously unreachable more

I feel that generally alternative high schools are great because they allow for students to have a second chance even though all they are told is that they will fail in this system. Alternative high schools provide people with a second chance which give people the confidence and help they need. This connects to me because in high school I was extremely close to dropping out but found out about alternative high schools which motivated me again and got me determined to put in the extra amount of work necessary for my diploma

It connects to my old ex friends most of them were just drop outs and started following in the footsteps of others.

i stopped here because its important to know what are the real reasons why kids are dropped out. this matters because if we know why then we can change it so there isnt so many kids dropping out. the main reason kids are dropping out is because the teachers, they feel that teachers and staff don’t do their job right. this connects to me because i remember feeling that exact same way in my old school
