“her face is like an oval” that line stuck out to me because it reminded of black cultural.
Her tone of voice is beautiful. the ways she pauses as she is presenting her story to the audience in a calm way.
Her tone and voice make me want to keep listening but it’s soft and calm
Its as if when she reads certain things she maintains eye contact with that eye contact it doesn’t seem like she is reading.
How does one become a pro at professionally speaking I mean she is an actor yes but everything she is saying is from her heart without hesitation.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie tone is in the middle and her volume is great because she is talking clear and we can understand everything she is saying.
The pacing is good because she gives it time to get into your mind and for you to get a better understanding of everything
She emphasize words when she asks a question and INFLECTION when she goes into detail about her sister at the end
speaking something new, one would expect it to be normal to have a fluent tone of voice, not exaggerated.
sister.
Adichie never lost her patients when it came down to her frustrating situations.
Adichie tone of voice is very pleasant and eloquent. Even though her voice isn’t Dramatic, she still was able to catch the attention of the audience, in this case me. Not only did she catch my attention because of her incredibly charming writing, but her voice was fit for the type of writing she had in store for us.
Adichie also involved her audience and made the audience be apart of the speech.
Adichie has this strategy where she gives the audience context before she reads her excerpts. This helps her a good amount because it works as a great hook. It’s like if she were give us the appetizer, and we’re left with that feeling of wanting the full meal.
How does the VOLUME affect the impact of the speaker’s words?
It really does not have an impact on the speaker voice because her voice is at the same tone it does not changer it is just a very soft tone.
