In terms of teaching, I find that NowComment is a bit more user friendly (stable URL, easy to see threads) as compared to Hyopthesis being a “layover” on the website with the Chrome extension.

I’ve thought about that, and developed a workshop activity around this idea, where I have teachers use a fake Twitter generator to create “interactions” between two people having a bitter, mean argument and another fake dialogue having a well-reasoned, academic argument.
