Come find out how and why these teachers are turning documents into conversations in different ways on NowComment.
Like last week, this week we've asked a few teachers to choose one student to focus on, and we will:
On TTT this Wednesday, we'll do this with three students and look closely at how their teachers are using NowComment.

From Christina Cantrill : Thank you Anna!
From Paul W. Hankins : Thank you, Anna. I wonder if you have worked with The Signposts with your students.
From Anna Maine : A colleague just shared a worksheet about signposts with me! I'd never heard of them as a student or as a teacher until recently
From Anna Maine : Any tips, advice or curriculum would be welcome
From Paul W. Hankins : I'm thinking the Six Signposts for Fiction would work nicely as Top Box Subject inviting the exploration of the signpost in the larger comment box.
From sreed : we have extreme… more A and More F…
From Anna Maine : @Paul sounds like a good idea!
From Paul W. Hankins : I teach half and half, but all at once. Through Google Meet. All of our students now have Chromebooks which allows for a little more collaboration between in-room and at-home.
From Anna Maine : It certainly seems to be widening the opportunity gap in general. A few exceptions, but overall that's what it seems like
From Anna Maine : There's a HS in LA named after this family!
From Jessica Hernandez Speer : We have a children’s book about it: “Separate Is Never Equal”
From Anna Maine : Oh yeah I've seen that too
From sreed : I say give as much grace a posible…
From sreed : Curious have others played with other annotation tools?
From Anna Maine : Google docs has a cool highlight add-on that allows you to sort things you've highlighted based on color. I've tinkered but haven't used it w students
From Anna Maine : I like Edpuzzle too but that's not strictly annotation
From sreed : has anyone used Kami…
From Paul W. Hankins : I've only used NowComment thus far. It's what we have come to since all of our students now have devices.
From Anna Maine : lmao @ sounds like a telethon
From Anna Maine : Really cool, Natalia!
From Paul W. Hankins : Too. Many. Tabs. Does. Not. Compute. Wink.
From Paul W. Hankins : Your Name is a Song
From Paul W. Hankins : How Alma Got Her Name
From Paul W. Hankins : The Name Jar
From Paul W. Hankins : Your Name is a Song is a powerful new book that explores the importance of pronunciation and not allowing others to change your name for their convenience.
From sreed : Kami has a robust interface, but Now Comment has its own competitive advantages
From sreed : Paul W . thanks for sharing
