So wonderful to see what happens when students are able to draw from their areas of expertise and interests (e.g. infographics, digital design, playwriting). Pre-service teachers need to see what is possible beyond (and inclusive of) traditional essays!

Louise will be showing us some of the work her EL students created by interviewing a family member or friend in their native countries about their experiences with the Coronavirus.
We'll take a look at the COVID Oral Histories they posted on Youth Voices recently.

My story with my grandmother is very beautiful because I and she have shared many things since I was 1 year old. She took care of me and protected me from everything and even keeps taking care of me from a distance since she lives in Ecuador.
