English as a Second Language (ESL) Programs

Join this group

TC3 offers three levels of English from advanced beginner to high advanced levels. Each level is 4 credits and provides 60 hours of instruction in listening, speaking, reading and writing. During the fall and spring semesters, each course lasts seven and a half weeks. During the first seven and a half weeks, students take the "A" part of each level, and during the second seven and a half weeks, they take the "B" part. In the summer, students take the "A" part during the first five week session and the "B" part during the second five week session.
The ESOL program at TC3 is an intensive program because students spend eight hours in class each week during the regular semester and more during the summer. In addition, students hone their speaking and listening skills in the ESOL Lab.

Transfer Opportunities
TC3 has some 45 articulation agreements with colleges both in the United States that allow our students to transfer easily to baccalaureate institutions. TC3's Office of Counseling, Career and Transfer Services has professionals who advise students on their choice of transfer college and who help them through the transfer process.
Every October TC3 holds a fair at which approximately 100 four-year colleges and universities are represented. Each spring TC3 sponsors a fair for regional four-year colleges and universities.

International Student Services
All TC3 services available to domestic students are also available to international students. In addition, the TC3 Global office offers services to meet the special needs of international students.
