Creating a free NowComment account is easy and only takes about 60 seconds:
Click the big orange "Sign Up (free!)" button on our homepage, which will take you to the Registration page where you fill in your:
e-mail address (your login to our system)
(optional) Professional Title if you use one (e.g. Dr., Prof.)
your first name and last name (separate fields). If you're using NowComment for school or organizational work use the same names and email address here that you use there.
Once you click the orange “Sign up” button at the bottom of the page we'll send an email to the address above. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes please check whether any spam filters intercepted our email, and/or “backarrow” in your browser to check whether you typoed your email address.
Clicking the activation link in that email (or copy-and-pasting it into your browser’s URL window) will confirm your email address and let you do the last step:
enter an account password (entered twice as a safeguard against typos)
upload a photo from your computer (optional)
give us permission to keep you updated about new features and announcements (optional)
enter your time zone (optional)
check the box that you agree to our site’s Conditions of Service
and then click the “Save” button to finish.
That's it. You can now log in to:
check your My Library homepage for two sample documents we provide, plus any documents friends or colleagues may have already shared with you
Desktop/Laptop: double-click any text, highlight a section of an image, or add a comment while a video is playing to start a new conversation. Tablet/Phone: single click then click on the "Start One" link (look right or below).
Click "Reply" on a comment to join the conversation.
