This tells how you scaffolded the task for students. The next step is to give students a list of guidelines or learning targets that make expectations for the final product clear to them.

This student did a good job of showing how he helped someone (You brainstormed how they can help others). However it does not show a problem and solution (Indicated in the guidelines) I'm not sure what you expected.

The writing uses chronological order, and good specific details. Sentence structure is good and invented spelling shows attention to phonics. In addition, the pictures match the text.

This is a joyful descriptive paragraph. The student took responsible risks by using invented spelling for challenging words. The picture matches the text. However, this does not seem to meet the description of the task.
