Responsible could mean – managing impulsivity or controlling your behavior, persisting in order to complete all school work and chores.
Respect could be linked with listening with understanding and empathy. Then they could give examples how they did two or three of those.

This is very helpful. Eventually, you can use student samples to highlight the characteristics of quality work. I did notice that the students all mentioned ideas related to cleaning, which they got from the sample.

This student explained ideas more than others, but he jumped from home to school and back to home. He might be ready to organize his ideas into groups.

I wonder if this student could fill in sentence frames. If not, you could ask him to dictate so that he gets to express his ideas even if he can't write them yet.
