This says that students have to explain the positive effects. In the samples provided, students gave examples of things they could do, but did not explain the effects.

You can revise the task or add some scaffolding that helps students to think about the effects of good behavior. The latter is linked to SEL.

You can get students to add details, starting with the picture. If the student added details that show what she is doing to help in the picture, she is more likely to add them to the writing.
