Opinion vs Narrative

Why I like fall lends itself to opinion writing. They could still give three reasons and use transitions ( in addition, another thing, finally).
The sequence of events for a narrative might be problem, action or attempt to solve it and outcome with a conclusion showing how they feel about the outcome.
