We have a great double bill to spark ideas and conversation on TTT https://teachersteachingteachers.org this Wednesday evening, July 1, 2020 at 9E/8C/7M/6P.
Annie Thoms @msathoms and Louise Bauso facebook.com/ldbauso are coming to share student work with us.

Annie will highlight the work of a few students in here Junior/Senior Selective English class she teaches at Stuyvesant High School in New York City.

Anne Thoms's flyer for her class, "Writing to Make Change"
Louise will be showing us some of the work her EL students created by interviewing a family member or friend in their native countries about their experiences with the Coronavirus. We'll take a look at the COVID Oral Histories they posted on Youth Voices recently. Here's an excerpt of one of the discussion posts on Youth Voices:

My story with my grandmother is very beautiful because I and she have shared many things since I was 1 year old. She took care of me and protected me from everything and even keeps taking care of me from a distance since she lives in Ecuador.

See and hear more student work from the lockdown. Join Louise and Annie on TTT https://teachersteachingteachers.org on Wednesday evening, July1, 2002 at 9E/8C/7M/6P.
