Bio
George is a sophomore Communication, electronic/print journalism major, with minors in English Professional Writing and Marketing at Virginia Polytechnic & State University, formally known as Virginia Tech. He is a sports reporter for The Collegiate Times, alternate anchor for Virginia Tech Television’s show Tech Tonight, on a four-person media crew for the club ice hockey team, a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists. George interned last summer as a Marketing & Communications assistant at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. He is currently interning with Mr.Sportsbook.com as a featured columnist. George plans on graduating from Virginia Tech in May 2013 and hopes to attend graduate school for journalism and one day work for ESPN.
